Tuesday
It is still Tuesday. I can't tell you how I filled my Tuesday. I can tell you about some of the things I did. I woke. I prayed. I walked with mom. I went and had a game with mom. She won. I could have played better, but not by much. I might have won if I had.
I went back to the Country House. I knew I wanted to be in Bridgeport by a 3:30 call (I wasn't). I also knew I had to pick some stuff up for the painter. I reached out to the zoning board regarding a possible matter regarding an application to put a parking lot that would be right in my prospective clients' back yards. I spoke to Barry about it also.
I checked out a class I'd like to take.
I reached out to my insurance agent about a weird late fee I got. I had gotten this notice about my cancelled policy. I thought it was the policy for Bridgeport, which we had just changed. Apparently, it was for something else. My agent is seeing if they can't get me hooked up again. I looked for the bill. I couldn't find it. I just looked again and did find it. Oops.
I think I might not have got out all of the splinter.
So I listened to a call about career stuff from Cornell. That was until one, and some laundry, and I was out of the house around three, but decided I needed to shave first. I got to the city clerk to record something, and Home Depot to get what my painter needed, and Stop and Shop to return the bottles, buy more water and cofee and Wasa crackers, Lowe's for the bird seed Home Depot didn't have, and made it to the office kinda late.
I had looked for the sander at the country house too, and turned off the outside water (it's getting colder), and gone through hundreds of e-mails, and got my Frontier bill down again.
I did listen to the other call. It was appalling: Pace's attempts at post-DEI DEI. I asked a question about diversity of thought, and the woman answered a question about neurodivergent students. When I tried to clarify, the clarification was ignored.
Yesterday was more fun. I had two client meetings, swapped a lawnmower gas tank out for a more whole one that I got off a power washer, fixed the document the first client wanted, called to have Miriam come over to witness, and we arranged for an hour and a half later. So I had just enough time to row.
I am working on questions to ask myself to get out of certain ruts. I'll let you know if it helps.
