Frog Unicorn Laundry
Would you rather have to wash after a pet frog or a pet unicorn? Even if you had ten frogs in a pond you had to take care of it would be preferable to washing unicorn pee out of your laundry.

I need add no comment to this one
Effort Gallon Thaw
With enough effort, you could thaw most things. A simple method is rubbing your body up against it, but sometimes you need more advanced tools.
Sometimes there is great risk; one man tried to thaw a gallon of ice with the simple method. He didn't make it.
Biscuit Wander Fossil
This is what happens when you let your pets' wander off.

All nobles need one.
Ceremony Straw Master
The straw master is an ancient tradition, brought from our peasant ancestors. Today they are mostly ceremonial.

How'd you know I was in trouble?
Hardship Carbon Food
We are carbon-based lifeforms, so in times of hardship, it's important that we find enough carbon in our diet.
Chickens
I can't do comedy as the main idea, I need a frame. Or at the very least a word. (Eventually I'll get it right.)

Every Day
Every Day
Every Day
Every Day
Every Day
Every Day
And yet, it still doesn't seem to be good enough for people to want to read it.
Well, probably because it's every day. Consistency doesn't mean much if it isn't consistently of quality.
And I try to make it humorous or worth reading, but I need more focus. So, next week will be an entirely attempts at humor, with the week after being attempts at non-humorous posts. (I wonder if anyone will be able to tell?) The week after will entirely attempt at sticking to a theme.
Except for my pre-posts, I'll see if I can hide previous ones to be viewed on a separate page. No matter how little I want to, so here is a silly list.
If I put in my all even when I didn't want to my posts would be much better. And wasn't that always Saba's point, the key is discipline.
-So I lack discipline but I still write something every day. The reason I can not use that as an excuse is that I often get these out just before midnight, even though I first sit down to write them at around 4 o clock.
-But this was meant to be a silly list. dah be do dah... But when I can't fool myself I can't fool you. I have trouble with lighthearted sometimes, and at those times I should do well thought out. This is neither.
-But I can be lighter-hearted and I am much more consistent with my pre-posts. (Although about quality who can tell.) But I haven't a clue if anyone likes them.
-And so I shall continue as normal, but better than normal, and again I shall try no to talk about myself, only to mention it is lighthearted week. I just had a birthday, I should be happy.
And I am sometimes happy, but I think discipline will do me good.
And so I shall try to develop better discipline, and the first step will be to get back into doing my exercises everyday. To Get beck into the joy of producing music, by playing slight variations on a thing for twenty minutes each write one down, than do that fifteen more times.
But even in repetition I can find joy. And i can get interested in anything.
But if I am to ever become more and greater, to live into what I think I can live into. I must do More.
But discipline comes first.
Weekend Post Number Something Or Other
Today's color is #498c6e
I am going to reread and re-categorize my old posts, and I should be done with that by next Wednesday. I would also like to find a way to filter out pre-posts when reading through old posts, I don't expect everyone who reads it to read it every day, so there should be a way to just get to the parts you like. (Whatever they be.)
Three Questions:
-
What is the most prominent mechanism when we identify with people? Is it seeing them as tribe or family? Is it the thought that we could be that person if our circumstances were different? Is it simply an understanding of their pleasure or pain? When is an experience so alien to us that we can't even imagine it?
-
Can we learn to imagine things that didn't even exist before? Can we enrich our experience of the world with meditation and words? How does reading of an experience from a well-written perspective affect us? And can we understand how it feels if it is expressed in words alone?
-
And here I ask the question everyone asked before? How do we get other people to change their opinions to better match ours? How can we change someone else understanding of reality? Can we do so just using words? And does it become impossible if they don't want to change?
So how do we make someone want to change? What carrot can we dangle in front of their face?
Four Creative* Lines:
-
And with the right carrots, we create cults or dictatorships. We want this better life, and as soon as we sell them on the what the how can follow.
-
Why is communism still alive? Because if authority was distributed equally, it might work. And we call distributed authority democracy.
-
(I'm completely out, I have no clue what else to write and I'm out of time, so I'll just able and hope something comes out of it.)
If a lie can keep us working for a week we will find a new one each week to keep ourselves moving.
Progress is built. Progress is inevitable. But not everything we call progress is progress. And many before have been able to stop progress for a time. At least until they lost a war. Then they rushed to catch up.

It may take me a few years but I can do it, I can do anything possible. But I won't do most things that are possible for I don't have the time.
It's My Birthday
But it's also late, so I'm tired and I'm kinda spent. So here is a quick post before I end my day.
So I shall give it my all, and try keep it at least semi lucid.
Birthdays are, at least in theory, a celebration of a person, the date is arbitrary, but since we count lifetime in measures of years, the time at which the measure is most accurate was chosen. On this day, we celebrate a person, but sometimes for convenience sake, we are off by a few days, but as said before, the date is arbitrary.
So we get or make a sweet food, layout table and bring gifts. Well, in some cultures, the person being celebrated gives out gifts. And sometimes there is an exchange of gifts, but it is all in celebration of the individual, or sometimes of the family. For some, it was the family's growth that is celebrated, and the person as a part of that.
A day that is all about you, or about how happy your family is to have you. Or a way for nobles to connect their families on the day it is no longer pedophilia to marry their children to each other. But why it was celebrated in some places should not remove the meaning of the day, which is a celebration of the individual.
But why do I repeat that over and over? Why? For many, it is simply habit, and for others, a display of decadence in the individual's name. For me, it is about me, like all other days that aren't about someone else. But decadence is decadence, and if all you want to do is eat cake, then the day, be it your or someone else, is just an excuse. And habits brought by spoiling children move into adulthood, and the day may end up meaning nothing at all.
But it can mean something. It is the celebration of an individual, of their family friends and effect on the world. The date is arbitrary, but the celebration remains. So who do you want to celebrate? Who in your life deserves a celebration of their selves and their actions in the past few years. Who needs such a celebration to understand their value? You cannot expect to be done for you what you do not yourself do. So let us make birthdays meaningful again and let someone's value be seen, at least once a decade.
